Lovely day to all the dearest readers of Mena's Blog.

Its an interesting day to talk about a very interesting topic.

This a topic we feel we already know everything about. But i'm sure by the time i'm done with this interesting piece you'll appreciate the knowledge you've acquired from this particular write up.

This piece is about mobile phones and how we communicate with them. You'll agree with me that it's the most effective mode of communication.

So today readers i'm going to be writing about the telephone etiquette. Whatever manner you use to have a conversation on your cell phone can mare or make you. Regardless of where you are and at what time there are many guidelines as to how to take calls on your cellphones. I'm going to describe each guideline to you.

IDENTIFICATION.

Regardless of who you call you need to introduce your self properly
You also need to find out if it's conveinent for the receiver to take the call.
There is a need to give the person on the other end of the phone line a heads up as to how long the conversation is going take. Will describe the pattern below.
* hello it's mena calling.is it a good tym to talk to you.i may be on to you for a while hope it's ok*.
Simple i guess.

POLITENESS.

Being polite to the receiver on the other end puts you the caller at ease.we all know not all phone conversations are on friendly notes.you should alwaiz speak into your receiver with an even and low note.*in my low sexy voice hello*

DON'T BE TOO LOUD.

You don't need to be overly loud when having a conversation on the phone. You shouldn't sound anxious aggressive or pushy. Your tone should convey authority and confidence.

BEWARE OF INAPPROPRIATE CONVERSATIONS IN PUBLIC.

No one needs to hear the drama going on in your life.So keep your private conversations for when nobody is close by.
*no one cares that your hubby didn't eat the food you cooked last night*

DO NOT USE LOUD AND ANNOYING RINGTONES.

In the present day you hear really weird sounds when some phone rings in public and you're like what in heaven's name is that sound and then someone turns and says to you "that's my ringtone" then you go like what the hell. We all need to embrace the habit of putting our phones on silent when going to public functions especially attending a meeting, going to church, when at the cinema seeing a movie etc.

AVOID PUTTING YOUR PHONE ON SPEAKER.

No one wants to hear whatever conversation you  are having with the other party.Pls do not answer your calls on speaker expect you are alone.
*atleast i don't want to listen to how you had good sex last night*

AVOID MULTI-TASKING.

Multi-tasking is something Nigerians love to do.Please do not drive and talk on the phone with one hand.It is for your own safety.

DO NOT USE YOUR CELL PHONE INAPPROPRIATELY.

Imagine me on a date with this really cute guy and then for the whole date he pays attention to his phone.First off i'll feel really sad with myself and then i'll stand up and whisper in he's ears he should continue the date with he's phone and leave the venue.Trust me people it is really annoying.

I hope you all enjoyed reading this piece and you'll all start taking corrections.

*love to all my readers and your comments will be appreciated*.
