RECENT HAPPENINGS

Hello readers,i know i've been absent for a while.Busy with stuff i just couldn't find any time to write.
Alot of things have happened since the last time i wrote. So i decided to write all the different gist in different paragraphs on this write up.

I'm starting with BBA.Since the inception of the show the stargame has proved to be the most violent show of all them.A total number of 4 housemates have left the house because of this violence. We already know they are but if you don't know their names already i'll be writing it out, there was the DKB and Zaniab fighting/slapping paroles and then yesterday it was Roki and Maneta.Maneta is a weirdo as far as i'm concerned, who dears to pour dish washer into someone's eyes?Ohhh i know that answer,Maneta.Who dears to pour water on people's bed and hair? That would be Roki.He didn't really deserve to go sha but it was the only decision biggy could come up with..
Still on BBA, Goldie and Prezzo that is a real stupid joke to me.How on earth did that happen.Goldie happens to be the most annoying housemate in the show. You all know that those in downville are now aware that there's another house.Season 7 of BBA according to my rating is officially the most annoying show on TV.Done with that Gist

Next port of call is the MBGN story. When the show happened in May of this year i said it felt like there was some element of fraud.Well now i guess i'm proud to say there was some truth in that afterall. Please people where in the world does the 1st runner up represent the country in the Miss World competition when the winner is still very much alive, healthy and available.Well you already know the answer is Nigeria. Its really shameful to know that nothing is fair in this country again.Ben Murray Bruce's explanation sha doesn't work for me.Na wa ohhhhh.Ohh well i hope Damiete Charles Granville that is now representing us will do us proud.Wishing her the best.

Now time to visit the story of the BH (Boko Haram) bombing in Kaduna.Sundays in Nigeria seem to now be referred to as black sundays because in recent times the most deaths occur on sunday.I'm sure most of us already heard about the dozens of people that were butchered on sunday.
With all these killings i begin to wonder where we are headed in this country. In the face of all this, our president is in Brazil.Meanwhile billions of naira was voted on security this year and we are still unprotected. No where is safe anymore. This is the only country a terrorist gets only 3years jail time, after a homosexual gets 14years for being gay(not like i'm advocating for the gay community or anything). We can only be the ones to protect ourselves.
Come to think of it we have gradually becoming Afghanistan and Iraq.Where working the streets or going to church is almost a nightmare.Sitting down and praying for the best is not really going to help us.We need to act quick. That been said i'm done with this topic.

The most interesting of all the topics is the Farouk Lawan/Femi Otedola in the subsidy bribe allegation scandal. It sounds better to me this way.Like we all heard that Mr Lawan took $620,000 subsidy bribe from Mr Otedola and Mr Lawan denied it.
My attention has been drawn to several newspapers and internet stories alleging that a prominent member of the House Adhoc Committee on Petroleum subsidy demanded and received the sum of $600,000.00 as bribe from an oil marketer.
I wish to categorically deny that I or any member of the committee demanded and received any bribe from anybody in connection with the fuel subsidy probe and I believe this is evident from the thorough and in depth manner the investigation was carried out and the all-encompassing recommendations produced therefrom as approved by the whole House.
This became the first part of the gist well atleast till he agreed he collected bribe. The funny thing is two people are involved in this scandal but it seems only one person is taking the fall.Well they keep going back and forth and other names are beginning to pop up but Farouk Lawan's name is still making headlines. My general conclusion is that some people want the subsidy case dead so the had to look for someone to take the fall.Even video tapes can be photoshopped.Thank God for the Internet.Let's hope Farouk Lawan is vindicated as they always are in the end of all the drama.
The subsidy probe must continue ohhhhh.

The last topic that was really interesting to me is that of the SEC DG Ms Aruma Oteh.Remember her sharp mouth and all the drama that followed with the house of Rep guy Hembe and all the Accusations thrown at Ndi Okereke Onyiuke.Well it seems that the tables have turned on her,and maybe she has stepped on alot of toes too.Ohh did i fail to mention she got suspended, so that an unfettered investigation into several allegations against her management, particularly allegations of misappropriation of N3billion on the controversial Project 50 programme and she petitioned President Jonathan to get the order reversed.I'm thinking she has forgotten how politics is played in Nigeria. She should keep her reputation and let sleeping dogs lie ohhhh.

Well these are all the topics that interested me recently.I promise to be more forthcoming with stories.
Thanks to everyone that had the time to read this piece and drop a comment.Lots of love people.i got to go now.

DANA AIR PLANE CRASH

Hello readers,
The last Few days have been terrible for all of us.I'm still in shock.Alot of us have been thrown into mourning.Imagine speaking to your friend and next minute the person is no more or speaking to your parents and next thing you are going to identify their corpse.Trying to write this piece has felt like lifting a very heavy cross of my shoulders. So i decided i wouldn't put up any pictures from the mishap.
I have tried to imagine countless times what went on in the minds of the victims knowing they had met their death.I've also tried to understand the pain families of the victims are going. This is a big blow to all of us.Not forgetting to mention the unsuspectig victims resting on that black sunday afternoon in their homes. How could they have known it was their last time with members of their different families.

In all of this i have decided to say that the system in this country just doesn't work.20 mins was enough to rescue some people aboard that flight. What happened to the rescue teams? Why didn't they show up before the plane went up in flames?
This is just sad.If only our leaders would look away from corruption and make all the sectors of our economy functional.
It's time for us to stop waiting for disasters to happen and then realize that the sector be probed.Alot of lives have being scarificed because no one cared enough to inspect the commercial airlines. The road disasters that happen, happen because no one cared enough to probe the licenses of most of the drivers.
Most of us in the regulating agencies  turn our faces when money is flashed in them. For how are we going let corruption to keep having its way in our country.Corruption in Nigeria is apparently worse than HIV/AIDS as it stands presently.

I weep for this nation because the younger generation are most likely to be worse than the older generation. This is the only place being meticulous is a problem.

I pray for all the souls that lost their lives in this past weekend tragedies, ranging from the plane crash disaster to the Boko Haram bombing and all the car crashes.May the Good Lord who sees everything and knows all things grant them rest and I also pray The Almighty God will let justice prevail.Eternal life grant them oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

I also pray for all those families that have lost anyone in any of these recent disasters,May Christ comfort and console them and give them hope to move on with life as He will see them through.

R.I.P TO ALL THE 153 PESINS ABOARD THAT AIIRCRAFT
R.I.P TO ALL THOSE THAT LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE COURSE OF THE PLANE CRASHING DOWN
R.I.P TO ALL THOSE LIVES LOST IN THE BOKO HARAM CRISIS
R.I.P TO ALL LIVES LOST IN AUTO CRASHES.

ETERNAL LIFE GRANT THEM OH LORD,AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON THEM.
