WAYS OUT OF BAD BREATH.

HELLO READERS,

After this write up most of us are going to keep and abide by rules to keeping an odourless breath and keeping friends instead of losing them without an explanation.

Bad breath is something that bothers all of us.Imagine a handsome guy walks up to you to say hi and when he opens his mouth to say something you take a dive.Yea you imagined right.

There are actually different canses for bad breath,i'm going to run them through you and also some already made therapy out of bad breath.

There's a way to find out if you have bad breath also called HALITOSIS.Its simple all you need to do is lick the inside of your wrist with the back of your tongue and wait a few seconds for the saliva to dry up.

REASONS FOR BAD BREATH.

DRY MOUTH:This condition is called xerostomia and it can cause bad breath because the production of saliva, which helps to cleanse the mouth is reduced. This can occur during sleep.
Dehydration can exacerbate it , so make sure you top up the water levels.Some other problems with the salivary glands, hormonal changes during the menopause or reactions to some medications can also lead to dry mouth syndrome.

MOUTH, NOSE AND THROAT PROBLEMS:When you suffer problems with your nasal passages, you could ce a victim of bad breath.Sinus infection ,where nasal discharge drips into the back of the throat creates mouth odour.Also upper and lower respiratory infections or ulcers in the respiratory system can also be responsible.

OTHER MEDICAL CONDITIONS:Chronic kidney failure can lead to a urine-like or fishy smell on the breath.
Uncontrolled diabetes can also cause a fruity breath odour.
Digestive problems such as acid reflux and gastritis can also cause bad breath, coupled with other symptoms.

MEDICATIONS:Some medications , such as those for high blood pressure .Can contribute to bad breath.

WAYS OUT OF BAD BREATH
 The first step to curing bad breath is brushing your teeth regularly.

GET A SCRAPER.
Most of the bad breath cases are because of the plaque that accumulates in the tongue's folds,particularly towards the back.Use a tongue scraper atleast twice a day.

RINSE MOUTH WITH WASH.
Many mouthwashes use alcohol to kill bacteria and this is not the best ingredient. Instead you could use a containing zinc chloride.you can gargle once a day with this.

KEEP YOUR MOUTH MOISTURIZED.
usually a dry mouth stinks.That's why our breaths are horrible in the mornings when we wake up from sleep because we produced less saliva while asleep.Since saliva is an enemy of bad breath cos it washes out food particles and bacteria, it also has antiseptic and enzymes that kill bacteria.
chewing gum stimulates saliva production and it also provides scent to cover up odour.
NOTE:Mints do not encourage saliva production.

DRINK WATER:
drinking water doesn't neccesarily increase saliva production but it'll wash out the mouth and it is healthy too.Dry mouth can be caused by certain medical conditions or medications.

EAT A BANANA
To have good breaths try to avoid foods like onion, garlic, cheese and coffee.You can have them but you must brush/wash your mouth vigourously after consumption.Taking banana,apple or even pineapple leave you with a fruity breath which is ok.
